A bit about leather...
The beauty of the leather’s patina will change over time, aging and darkening with use, so regular cleaning and re-waxing is recommended to keep it looking its best. Waxing will protect the marbling too - see my Leather + Leather Care page for more information.
The Oak bark veg-tanned full grain leather is intact, with some natural marks and imperfections on the surface of the hide. The hides sourced from Devon and Cornish herds, a sustainable by-product from the food industry and 100% compostable at the end of its long life, makes this an eco-conscious product.
A bit about the lamp base...
Vase style wooden lamp base created by PJW Woodworks, sourced responsibly in the West Country from fallen Ash or English Oak and turned on Dartmoor. Each lamp base has an brass fitting and linen cord.
