We have a few lovely places to eat close by, or you are welcome to bring a packed lunch and eat this in our garden.
Refreshments are provided throughout the day.  
Class sizes are kept small, so you’ll get focussed attention and have space to be creative.

The Creative Dimensions Trust Charity, Cockpits Arts, Deptford 

13-15 August 2025

Tutoring a group of 14-19 year olds from underprivileged backgrounds, living in London.  Student will learn the ancient, heritage crafts of ink and acrylic marbling and learn simple bookbinding, lantern making and marbled cork key fob making.

See me demonstrate Suminagashi ink marbling.  Create an ink marbled pattern with me to take home, suitable for all ages.

Devon Open Studios

9-21 September 2025

A chance to meet the maker.  Visit my home studio to see me working on customer orders, demonstrating marbling, leatherwork, bookbinding and lampshade making.  It is a working studio, so I ask for all children visiting to be supervised.

Workshop: The Creative Dimensions Trust, London 
20-23 August 2024

Students aged 14-19 years.  An intensive 4 day course, including Suminagashi, Ebru and European marbling on paper and textiles.  A great introduction to surface pattern design and its applications for a few products. Students used their marbled papers to make books and lanterns. The group worked collaboratively to make 18 silk panels for a window display for Fortnum and Mason.
