A bit about the leather...
The veg tanned leather comes from a sustainable tannery here in Devon, where they use a slow and considered process, taking up to 15 months to tan a hide, turning it into supple leather. The hides are from Devon and Cornish herds. The full grain leather is intact, with natural marks and imperfections on the surface of the hide. In my opinion, it is the best British leather available and the fact that it is a sustainable by-product from the food industry and 100% compostable at the end of its long life, makes this an eco-conscious product
