Introduction to Heritage Paper Marbling + Simple Bookmaking £85

Workshops will be held in my studio from Winter24/Spring25 term in my studio in Devon.
You’ll spend the day learning the ancient art of marbling, playing with colour and learning bookmaking skills.  In the morning you will learn how to prepare your paper and marble basic European patterns. After lunch, you will make two stitched books using your marbled papers.

3-5 December 2024
Residential marbling course, held over 2 days in this beautiful venue.  
You will learn the ancient art of ink marbling, Suminagashi, how to prepare papers to marble and basic European marbling.  You will finish the course making stationery and books using the patterned papers made.  All materials, accommodation and meals are included.

Sustainable Artists Exhibition with Blue Patch for Dulwich Open Studios
13th - 14th May 2023
A collaborative partnership between Dulwich Picture Gallery and Blue Patch, a national social enterprise, celebrating sustainable makers and artists from across the UK. 
Blue Patch’s exhibition of 2D art, sculpture, furniture and crafts provided an outlet for over 10000 visitors to view, meet the maker and talk about tthe endangered  heritage craft of marbling.
