Class sizes are kept small, so you’ll get focussed attention and have space to be creative..

West Dean College, Chichester
Join me on a residential marbling course, held over 3 days in this beautiful venue set in an iconic arts college, near Chichester, West Sussex.
Over the 3 days, you will learn how to prepare your papers and fabric, paints and marbling bath to create heritage marbling patterns. You will be taught the ancient art of Suminagashi ink marbling and the colourful European acrylic marbling using simple tools and combs.
You will finish the course creating an envelope style cushion and a stitched notebook and textile bookmark using your beautiful marbling pattern fabrics and papers.
All materials, tools, aprons and gloves are provided. Cost of course includes accommodation and meals.
Recommend to bring a notebook. Wear old clothes and shoes as the paint tends to splash.
