STUDIO WORKSHOPS

My new studio will be ready for marbling and leatherwork workshops from late Spring/Summer 2025 here in Devon. Dates for my studio workshops will be announced here, in my monthly newsletter and on social media.

I offer the following workshops in my studio and in other venues:

Introduction to heritage paper ink marbling + simple bookmaking £45

10.00am-4.30pm
Class size: 4-6

You’ll spend the day learning the ancient art of Suminagashi ink marbling, playing with Japanese colour ink and learning bookmaking skills.  In the morning you will learn how to prepare your space, your paper and learn the importance of mindful breath-work to create your organic patterns. After lunch, you will make two stitched books using your marbled papers and an origami folded bookmark.

We have a few lovely places to eat close by, or you are welcome to bring a packed lunch. Refreshments are provided throughout the day.
