A sustainable way to create abstract landscapes or seascapes. These marbled paper artworks are affixed to painted wooden cubes. Each pieces is created after a marbled pattern is transferred to paper or textiles, to use up the inks and paint left on the marbling bath water so no resources are wasted.
Colours are inspired by walks on Dartmoor or the Devon coastal path. Wood used is FSC and painted in white acrylic paint.

Marbling is an endangered heritage craft, typically seen in books and paper products. The marbling pattern image is a representation only and may differ slightly as each pattern made is one of a kind, as the paints move on the surface of the water.
